Welcome to Old Hathern Station, our lovingly restored Victorian Railway Station on the edge of Normanton on Soar in Leicestershire and the home of our family run Bed & Breakfast business and our classic car hire service for weddings and funerals.
Originally built in 1857 and one of Beeching's closures in the early 1960's, we moved in during 2008 and began the long process of lovingly restoring and extending this extremely solid building to create a comfortable home in the heart of rural England and to provide storage and workshop space for our collection of classic vehicles. You can probably guess that we have a passion for all things evocative of a bygone era!
We are in the enviable position of being convenienty situated just ten minutes from J24 of the M1 and 15 minutes from Nottingham East Midlands Airport with easy access to Derby, Loughborough, Leicester, Melton Mowbray and Nottingham as well as just a few minutes walk from glorious countryside. The best of both worlds!
